PA Leadership Charter School (PALCS) provides many travel opportunities within the country as well as internationally. Students travel the globe and make the world their classroom. During these national and international trips, students will be immersed into the native cultures, language and customaries during their stay.
Over the years students have visited Panama, Galapagos Islands, China, Austria and Canada. PALCS took students to Eastern Europe in the summer of 2019. Nationally, students have visited many places including: Washington DC, Florida (Disney experience), Harrisburg and Chesapeake Bay.
The extended trip schedule is planned through 2023-2024 school year*
2019-2020 school year – Spanish Fiesta and Yosemite National Park
2020-2021 school year – Iceland and Florida Everglades National Park
2021-2022 school year – England and Scotland, and Grand Canyon National Park
2022-2023 school year – Galapagos Islands and Yellowstone National Park
2023 -2024 school year – Paris and Loire Valley, and Appalachian Trail
