As our year winds down to winter break, there is a lot of success that we should recognize here at PALCS in 2018. Our PALCS students and families have made this year one to remember and we are excited to see what 2019 has in store.
It is already mid-November and the holiday season is quickly approaching! It has been such an amazing year for PALCS so far, and we would like to reflect on all of the reasons we have to be thankful. Our latest breaking news is that PALCS, for the first time in its 15 year history, has over 3,000 students currently enrolled students state-wide. This milestone was reached just this week, and is our largest student body ever.
Can you believe that it is almost Halloween? The holiday season is quickly approaching, and this fun fall holiday calls for costumes, sweets, and trick-or-treats.
Today is the last day of the 2017-2018 school year! We want to commend the entire PALCS community and celebrate what a wonderful year it has been! With the school year coming to a close, we want to thank and congratulate our staff, students and their families, all of whom have worked so hard all year long to do their best and reach their goals. Every school year comes with different challenges and hardships, but that’s part of what makes the last day of school so special each year. Today is a day of celebration! We want to encourage everyone to take a moment, take a deep breath, and reflect on what you have accomplished.
Happy spring, PALCS! Spring break is taking place from Monday, March 26 to Monday, April 2. PALCS offices will be closed on Friday, March 30 and on Monday April 2.
As school winds down for winter break, we are finding ourselves filled with joy at the success of 2017. This year brought so many wonderful opportunities and special moments in the PALCS community and we are so excited about what 2018 will bring.
During this special time of year, we like to give thanks to important people and look back at the opportunities that we have been afforded.
Happy Last Day of School! As the 2016-2017 school year comes to a close, we want to reflect on what a wonderful school year this has truly been! Our students and staff have worked so hard all year long and we could not be more proud.
Spring break is here! PALCS spring break takes place from Monday, April 10th - Monday, April 17th. Whether you are traveling, catching up on your favorite TV show or making sure get as much sleep as you can, remember the 3 important R’s: relax, rejuvenate and reflect on the school year thus far.
Halloween: One holiday that PALCS staff and students look forward to each year with amazing levels of excitement! There are several reasons for this: teachers and staff in costume; students “Trick or Treating” in our AIC building (East – West Chester, PA) and The Landings building (West – Pittsburgh); the virtual “Pet Costume Contest;” the photos that pour in from PALCS students all over the state, showing off their costumes and big smiles!
