Abraar Jamaluddin, PALCS and USP senior, ’22, recently returned from the Dubai International Quran Competition. After winning the United States championship earlier this year in Minnesota, Abraar was invited this April to compete at the prestigious event in Dubai. Abraar has been ranked 4th in the event. According to his mother, “We are all extremely happy and proud of his performance on the world stage!”
The Dubai International Holy Quran Award is an annual award given for memorization of the Qur’an sponsored by the government of Dubai that began in 1997.
