Brief Biography: Originally a computer science major, Mrs. DiSciullo switched to teaching after tutoring calculus during college. “It was so much more fun!” she exclaims. “I knew then, teaching was what I wanted to do.” Before coming to PALCS, she taught for 12 years in the Octorara School District.
At PALCS, Mrs. DiSciullo says she enjoys “being able to create a course to fit the student. A teacher has plenty of flexibility.” Her favorite resource at PALCS is the multimedia classroom. “It is a great tool,” she says, “allowing the teacher to work with students on an individual or small group basis. I enjoy meeting students in the classroom to help them ‘see the light.’”
