Brief Biography: Dr. Roberts holds a National Certification in Music Education, is beginning her 21st year of teaching music, and her 11th year at PALCS. As one of the inaugural PALCS teachers, Dr. Roberts taught cyber music for grades 4-12 as well as facilitating Senior Seminars and serving as a professional mentor for Level II teaching certification. She joined the CPFA faculty in 2006, where she fell in love with the students and their creative passion. She currently serves as Music Department Chair for the Center for Performing and Fine Arts. She also serves the students as academic advisor and as a liaison to cyber teachers. Dr. Roberts is an active adjunct professor at a local University where she is a curriculum writer, trainer, and presenter of online best practices. She uses this knowledge of the “real world” to prepare her students for college placement exams in music. When not teaching, Dr. Roberts composes music, teaches at church, performs for weddings, teaches aerobics and hosts bible study at her home. Dr. Roberts has a wonderful husband, two adorable and very active teenagers, two cats and a bunny, who ultimately rules the house.
