Title: Middle School Guidance Counselor
At PALCS Since: 2011
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Fairfield University
Master of Arts in School Counseling with Certification in Elementary and Secondary School Counseling, Fairfield University
Brief Biography: Mrs. Dameron became a school counselor because of her love for working with children, adolescents, and their families. “I was inspired by the relationships that educators develop with their students,” she explains, “and have seen the impact that positive role models can have on youth.”
Before coming to PALCS, Mrs. Dameron worked as a mobile therapist, behavior specialist, and substitute teacher in schools throughout Chester County and southwestern Connecticut. She is excited to be a part of the PALCS community because, “I love learning about each of my students and the path their academic journey is following. In a cyber environment, I am given the opportunity to talk with each of my students and their families in a variety of ways, which allows me to get to know the whole student.”
