Mrs. Jane Ferris

Education: Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education: Social Studies with minors in Geography and History, Pennsylvania State University

Brief Biography: Mrs. Ferris has always had a love for education. “Raised in a family of educators,” she explains, “I have always valued learning and the art of teaching.” These values led her to teaching as a profession and to the University Scholars Program.

She appreciates the way PALCS teachers work together to succeed. “PALCS is a team,” she says, “with the students at the center of what we do.” Her students are the other element that she enjoys at USP. She says, “Each year, I look forward to the journey my students and I will take!”
