Title: High School Guidance Counselor

At PALCS Since: 2008

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Lehigh University
Master of Arts in Secondary School Counseling, University of Scranton

Brief Biography: Mr. Gegwich decided to work in education because he wanted to make a difference. “I wanted to work with children because I know the tremendous and lasting impact educators and counselors can have on students’ lives,” he explains. Prior to coming to PALCS, he spent one year working at South Western Senior High School and two years at Red Lion Area Senior High School.

Mr. Gegwich’s favorite part about working at PALCS is, he says, “sitting down and meeting with all of the new students who enroll.” He enjoys getting to know each of the students and families. “It is exciting to work with students who live all over the state of Pennsylvania, see them grow and mature, and to help them plan for life after high school.”
