The following is a list of Supplemental Educational Services (SES) available to qualifying students.* Qualifying students receive information about this list at the beginning of the school year or at the time of enrollment.

Supplemental  Educational Support (SES)

The federal No  Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) requires public educational placements in School Improvement I, School  Improvement II, Corrective Action I or Corrective Action II to offer eligible  students the opportunity for supplemental education services from a state  approved provider.

To support the program and meet the NCLB mandate, 20% of  Title I funds are set aside for SES. All eligible families are identified in  the fall and sent notification of eligibility, an explanation of the program,  and the names of state approved providers.   Eligibility is based on a family meeting the federal low-income  guidelines.  Participation is prioritized  on the basis of academic need as defined by PA Leadership Charter School.
