Nora Mullen graduated with a Masters in Dance Education (EdM) from Temple University in August 2006 where she was both an Adjunct Instructor and the recipient of the 2006 Promising Dance Educator Award. She has dance training in West African, Irish (step, figures, and performance), tap, modern, and ballet. She has performed with Body Language Dance Company and the Crossroads Irish Dancers. Nora Mullen also performed at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and Horizon Dance Conference.
Nora has taught creative dance, tap, jazz, ballet, African esthetic, and modern to students ages 3 thru adult in studios, public schools, and community arts centers. She believes studying dance has many benefits that extend beyond training students to become highly skilled dancers. Dance education can impart fundamental knowledge and skills students need to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and productive citizens.
