Daphne J. Longo-Okcuoglu
Photography Teacher

Daphne Longo-Okcuoglu is a fine art and portrait photographer who resides in the borough of West Chester, PA., with her husband and 5yr. old daughter. Daphne is a BFA graduate of Tyler School of Art, and has a Masters Degree in Photography + Art Education from New York University/ International Center of Photography. Her fine artworks are photographic images; often digitally altered, painted, and collaged; and have been in gallery exhibitions throughout NJ, NY and PA. She has been teaching high school art and photography for the last fourteen years, as well as camp and adult programs. Daphne’s recent works include a wide variety of fine art and commercial photography techniques. Some of her large scale works are computer altered photographs concerning the human body and our connection to nature. Daphne has recently opened a portrait photo studio called ‘The PHOTO ROOM’ / www.thephoto-room.com, located in the borough of West Chester. Her studio specializes in children/baby, family, and maternity portraiture (some of which are collaged onto wood, reminiscent of “Madonna and Child” portraits and Renaissance painting). The studio offers many other services including: commercial product photography, wedding photography, and artist’s slides.
