Allyson B. Roberts Music Department Chair
Piano/Keyboard and Advanced Music Theory Teacher

Allyson is beginning her 17th year of teaching music, and her 5th year at PALCS. For 2 ½ years, she served as cyber music teacher for grades 4-12, facilitator for Senior Seminars and professional mentor for Level II teaching certification. She joined the faculty in April 2005, where she fell in love with the students and the vision for the school. She currently serves as music department chair for the Center for Performing and Fine Arts. She also serves the students as a liaison and academic advisor between the cyber teachers.
Allyson is an active adjunct professor at two local Universities. She uses this knowledge of the “real world” to prepare her students for college placement exams in music. When not teaching, Allyson composes music, performs for weddings, teaches aerobics and hosts bible study at her home.
Allyson has a wonderful husband, two adorable children and two cats, who ultimately rule the house.
