Canada French Immersion Program

The French language is one of the most beautiful and useful languages in the world. And outside of the city of Paris, one of the world’s most beautiful cites to immerse in the French language is Quebec City, in Quebec Province, Canada.

In May, when Canada’s flowers and trees are in full bloom and Quebec City's vibrant outdoor cafes and plazas come to life, PALCS Leadership Center and Foreign Language Department offer the Canada French Program - a ten day immersion experience in the French language (and French Canadian culture) just north of the US border.

Our Canada French Program is open to both students and parents.Participants of this exciting, cost-effective, extended field trip will:

• Journey by air with teachers and students across the border and along the Saint Lawrence River to historic and majestic Quebec City.
  
  
• Live with French Canadian families and practice French language skills day and night.
  
  
• Learn French (3 hours per day) from a world-class language school renowned for the quality of its language instruction and enjoy experiential field excursions into Quebec City and the surrounding areas of Canada’s Belle Province.
  
  
• Accelerate mastery of the French language and build confidence for more advanced French language training in North America or abroad.
  
  
• Have the opportunity to work with your PALCS teachers and your Quebec language instructors to develop a game plan to prepare you for Advanced Placement (AP) exams in French.
  
  
• Keep connected and maintain your studies and PA daily attendance requirements using the internet.
