The Science & Technology Department at PALCS is proud to host fourteen of PA's brightest and most creative cyber educators. All of our teachers seek to bring high academic standards and best practices of education to the cyber environment. Our educators utilize proven instructional methods and continually develop new ways to bring science into the home of the cyber student. By using recorded demonstrations, virtual laboratory simulators, and engaging animations, PALCS Science & Technology educators can give students more experiential learning time than can be had in traditional learning environments.

Our educators develop higher order thinking skills by creating courses where students can engage with the content in a variety of ways. Students are encouraged to explore and relate to their area of study by creating their own webquests, video and audio projects, creative writing, and 3-D models. The department sets high expectations of PALCS students by requiring all students take a full credit of Technology courses and take Biology in order to graduate. Above all else, the Science & Technology department of PALCS is composed of real educators who are passionate about their subjects, eager to share their knowledge, and committed to student success.
